Cartier Screw Temple Sunglasses in Black w. Original Case

Made in France by Cartier. Black sunglasses with metal temples with the screw motif. The screw detail on the temples is one of the house’s oldest design signatures. It first appeared on the Santos watch, which Louis Cartier created in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, and it later became the defining feature of the Love bracelet, designed by Aldo Cipullo in 1969.

Expected to be from the 2000s.

The inside of the temples is stamped “© Cartier Paris 130” and “Made in France CE” with the serial number. In good vintage condition with light signs of use. They come with the original black Cartier hard case, which is in poor condition, with the coating chipping off along the edges and corners.
